lapis_lazuli022I was offered an earlier flight when I got to the airport yesterday, and taking it turned out to be the right decision. I got a row to myself, I stretched out and relaxed and got home two hours earlier than planned, and it turned out my original flight was delayed at least an hour.
I unpacked and then snuggled up in bed, where I cheered for our boy Drew on Top Chef then fell asleep. I got a wonderful wakeup this morning, loud mewings for breakfast aside, and now I'm trying to ease back into internets and work and catching up with things. Out my window, the sky is blue and beautiful over the mountain and the day is sunny and cool. I may have to put the catchings-up aside and go out for a walk.
