diy body jewelry
Friday, March 14th, 2008 12:10 amOkay, only partly DIY. But, frustrated with the fact that nostril screws always seem to be just a little short for my nose, I was browsing around and found this FAQ (don't worry, it doesn't show things stabbing into noses or anything graphic. no guarantees what you might find on the rest of the site, though...) and realized I could buy straight ones and bend them to order for myself, with the right pair of pliers.
The pliers were relatively cheap -- about $14, and I'll be able to use them for other crafty things as well. The unbent pins were cheap -- under $2 each. I got two of each color, figuring I'd ruin a few experimenting. Well, the learning curve wasn't very steep, so now I have cute nose jewelry that fits... in sparkly purple and sparkly blue.
Success!
Hey, sometimes it's the little things... :)
